Ceramic Coating 101

  1. Ceramic coating is a liquid polymer that bonds to your vehicle’s clear coat at a molecular level.

    - It’s a liquid applied onto the car’s surface that hardens to a glass like layer as extra protection.

  2. Unlike wax or sealants that sit on top of the paint.

    - The coating becomes part of the surface, not something resting on it.

  3. Ceramic coating creates a harder surface than just the clear coat alone

    -It’s scratch resistant, not scratch-proof

  4. Hydrophobic Chemistry (water beads)

-Water doesn’t spread across the surface with the ceramic coating, it forms tight beads and rolls off.

  5. UV rays break down the clear coat on the car through oxidation

    - Ceramic coating acts as a barrier, keeping the paint glossy instead of chalky.

  6. Debris Resistant

    - Bird droppings, Bug Splatter, Road Salt, Industrial fallout

*Why we encourage a paint correction or bare minimum, a polish / paint enhancement

  7. Ceramic coating is TRANSPARENT

    - It locks in the current condition of the paint. Any swirls or defects will still be visible. Ceramic coating is for long protection, not hiding damage.
